Opportunities for voluntary work

We are always happy to welcome voluntary helpers into school.
Volunteers will need to:
  • have a satisfactory DBS check,
  • complete an application form,
  • provide names for two references 
  • undertake safeguarding training.
This  helps us make safer recruitment decisions and prevent unsuitable people from working with vulnerable groups, including children. We will undertake the admin procedures for a DBS on your behalf.
 
You may have a particular skill you would like to share with the children.  For example in the past, we have run a Coding Club and a Spanish Club.  Please ask to speak to Mrs Cunnington to see if we can make use of your skills.
 
Volunteers also come into school to hear children read.  We can provide some brief training for you if this is something you would like to help with.
